Sapphire & Ruby

Colorful Corundum from Across South East Asia & Eastern Africa

A classically beautiful gemstone, treasured for centuries.

Though typically associated with deep blues, Sapphire comes in all colors of the rainbow, ranging from yellow to purple. In the ‘Corundum’ family, the red variety is commonly known as Ruby, whilst all other colors may be collectively called Sapphire. They are one of the most enduring gemstones in the world, in both the physical and stylistic sense. One of the most incredible qualities of corundum is the wide range of countless stunning colors it occurs in. Though ‘royal’ blue Sapphire and ‘Pigeon Blood’ Ruby may be the most widely recognized, we appreciate all of the wide range of shades and hues of Sapphire, such as peachy pink, grape purple, and lavender blue.

We deal in well cut, one-of-a-kind Sapphires and Rubies, in both Heated and Non-Heated varieties, predominantly from South East Asia. All of our stones are meticulously recut by us to reach the optimal balance between shape, weight, color and brilliance. In addition to faceted Sapphire & Ruby, we specialize in natural unpolished high quality Sapphire crystals from Sri Lanka and Ruby crystal specimens from Vietnam.
